Once a student returns the signed form, please refer back to the Google sheet final student lists. On the lists, you will now see a checkbox with each student and under the heading Universal Sign Off. Please check that box to indicate the form has been received for the 20-21 SY.
Classroom desks -
Over the next week, Madi and the custodial crew will place 20 desks in each classroom. These are to be kept in the classroom. Do not move them in or out. Each night these desks will be cleaned along with all the others located in the classroom. Do not use the student desk to store materials, teacher or otherwise. The amount of students moving between remote, brick & mortar, and vice versa is staggering. Custodial care of our building and facilities is taking a toll when the time to move furniture interferes with clearing and sanitization. Thank you for your continued flexibility.
August Fire Drill-
Congratulations...we passed!
September 10 is our next scheduled time drill. A video will be created to let students to continue to hear what the fire alarm would sound like in our building. Most likely, I will have classrooms play it just after you have completed your shift of the fire drill. In addition, to keep us on our toes, rotations of classrooms asked to move first then second will occur. Listen carefully on our designated drill days when your classroom will be called to practice. Finally, if you actually hear the fire alarm this year, everyone must evacuate as it is a true emergency. Until then (hopefully, never!) we will practice in separate shifts and report our monthly success:)
