Additional CV Notes:

About Noel Estes, IU Speech Therapist-
As many of you already know, Noel, on Sept. 29, fell in her home and broke her knee cap in two places. Her repair surgery was on Oct 4.
CV does not yet know when Noel will return to walk our hallways but if you have a minute or two to drop her an email of encouragement, I am sure she would greatly appreciate it.

Bits & Bytes
Be on the lookout Monday, Oct 7 for screencasts showing the tabs and clicks of SAS covering how to take those first steps to meet our building goals!

When are those first initial steps DUE? Dec 11th
What are the initial steps:
1. EATES Learning Focus Plans
2. One Unit identified
3. Standards to be covered with Unit instruction
4. Essential Questions to guide the Unit Instruction
5. Assessment Tasks to be completed as pre/post covering grade level eligible content as defined under the PA Core Standard

We are all together in this initiative.
Over the next week, I, along with Libby, will be working to complete the gr. 3-6 crosswalk. Also, gr. K-2, I will begin the work on a similar crosswalk and share out that Google Doc once created. However, there is still a great amount of work to do in the LFS planning process! Seek and find partnerships to work together and collaborate.

To EVERYONE a huge THANK YOU for all the hard work you are currently doing and that which will be coming ahead. I have seen Troy in our hallways often and know you are in good hands when you reach out to him for continued guidance. Another huge WAY TO GO for those who have spoken with him, booked him to come in for a meeting, etc. If anyone is needing EATES planning assistance PLEASE contact Troy. He is our district LFS Coach and available most mornings before our kiddos arrive.
